BRIEFS – The classic tighty-whities, briefs fit closely for support with a short leg. Typically the bottom of the leg falls above the bottom of the crotch. The fabric in the back covers the entire butt and ends directly under it. Briefs have a variety of different types of fly (opening) in front, but may not have a fly at all.
TRUNKS – The sexier boxer-brief, trunks offer all the same benefits but typically with a slightly shorter cut. The legs of trunks typically fall an inch or two below the bottom of the crotch, which earn them the nick-name of “square-cut.” Most trunks do not have a fly opening in front.
We hope this helps a little for those men who are a little confused about the variations between their underwear. So what are YOUR favorite and why? We `ll kindly let you decide.
